Bollywood, chanson, anime — and everything else that pulled me into a new language.
Hey, I'm RedOne. By day, I teach English as a second language. By night — and most weekends — I'm the student, working through three languages at once, just for the love of it.
I didn't pick these languages off a list. Each one showed up through whatever I was already watching, listening to, or reading — Bollywood, chanson, anime, and everything around them. No fixed formula per language, just following whatever pulled me in that week, in whatever mix of reading, listening, speaking, and writing it demanded.
Polyglossia is where I write it down: what's working, what's slower than I expected, and occasionally the research that explains why. Some of it is practical, some of it is just me thinking out loud about the process — and how progress in one language keeps quietly showing up in the others.
If you're learning a language because you love what it's wrapped in, this is that blog.
